RTL Biathlon 2009 is a simulation of the Biathlon sport. Like the real sport it is basically divided into two sections: skiing and shooting. During the skiing sections the player steers his athlete into the correct direction and watches his stamina. In the middle of the screen is a power bar which gets filled by holding the assigned button - if the bar is too low the athlete gets slow and if it is too high he gets tired. Practically this results in steady button pressing to keep it as high as possible. During the shooting sequences the player shoots on targets while the cursor is wobbling. He can also hold his breath for a short time to steady his aim.
In the career mode the player divides points into four categories, e.g. speed or stamina, which influence the athlethe's capabilities. After successful championships he can improve these stats further. New in this instalment are super-powers which can be chosen at some point. When activated these give a big boost on a stat for a short time, e.g. "mountain skiing" bo

One of the first realistic cricket games in the market, Cricket 96 wowed people with its options, commentary and video options.
You can play either test or one-day matches with a choice of 8 teams, and you can set your field, bowlers and batsmen. It has a good control system and decent graphics for its time.
This is 1994's incarnation of the long-running PGA Tour series, this time the additions come mostly on the technical arena: new, better, graphics and sounds including videos and commentaries of all the courses, as well as 9 digitized PGA pros to play as or 55 opponents with whom to play against in the tournament. The courses in the game include the TPC at Summerlin, River Highlands, and Sawgrass with all their corresponding holes.
Gameplay is practically unchanged from the previous series, with some small additions like sudden-death playoffs to decide ties for the lead, etc. in addition to being a much more difficult game.
Cricket 2004 is based on the sport of Cricket, developed by HB Studios for the EA Sports catalog. It features full day-night matches, all new weather effects and pitch types.
The game contains the licenses of all the international teams registered to the International Cricket Council for the year 2003, with the official Cricket 2003 World Cup fully playable along with many more tournaments. Domestic Teams for England and Australian leagues are fully licensed.
Play golf on the PGA Tour versus the computer or a friend via LAN or modem at two famous courses: "The TPC Scottsdale" and "The Bay Hill Club". You can also play with up to 80 other players on the Internet. Among the features there is Flash Draw (no waiting between shots), TV-style presentation, a 3D hole overview, a Risk meter to assess the potential risk of your next shot, the ability to walk the course in real time to read the green and view fly-bys and hear strategic commentary. There is also a Extra Disc that allows you to play Pebble Beach.
Player Manager 2 sets you as an international-standard soccer player who's stepped into being a player-manager at a lower-division side. The challenge is to reach the Premier League and survive.
Most of the standard features of management games are present, including pre-match tactics (which are fairly customizable), a full transfer market including short-term loan deals, detailed player statistics (presented visually), ground improvements and coaching.
Playing the matches is optional, as you can simply watch instead. There are 4 playing views, and you can play in position or as a team. Initially your player is by far the best in the team, so choose his position and use him wisely. Once you reach retirement age you can only play the matches for 3 out of every 4 seasons (which is poorly explained by an 'assistant manager' concept, but is more likely an attempt to make the game harder. This would make little sense though, because scoring is very, very hard in player-manager mode).
Before each match you get a video
This is a 3D Simulation Tennis game based on the famous Roland Garros franchise. 16 men and 16 women play on 8 different courts. You can choose Singles, Doubles or Mixed Doubles. Each win puts cash in your pocket towards rackets and games with more skilled players.
There are 3 game modes: Tournament, Exhibition, and Practice. In addition, there 12 rackets to unlock, 8 hidden players and 2 bonus courts, plus a 4-player multiplayer option.
Sensible Soccer '98 was made for the World Cup 1998 and can be played as both player and coach.

Kick Off 96 gives you the chance to take part in the European Championships in England 1996. Kick Off 96 can be played with several perspectives, including overhead and isometric, and offers the same pacey gameplay that made its predecessors famous. If Euro 96 isn't enough you could play with 49 international teams plus 750 club teams, totalling 15.000 real players with varied skill levels. If that's still not enough, you can also create your own leagues and teams.
