Boogie Woogi Jungle is an action game, where your character must collect a number of objects scattered around each screen before the timer runs out. Most of the objects are on ledges, requiring climbing up ladders and across rope bridges. Other characters are also running around the screen, and must be avoided to prevent losing a life. Graphically and game-play wise, it is very similar to Lode Runner, except that instead of digging holes to temporarily trap your pursuers, you can fire either horizontally or vertically to stun them.
In this classic top-down space game from 1983, you can take on one of the most dangerous jobs in the galaxy: garbage disposal. Try to survive for as long as possible, while knocking the giant garbage pods into a black hole with your Space-Dozer.
The player controls a small character, which can move horizontally on the bottom of the screen and fire vertically. In the background, an animated castle, dragon, and house can be seen. On each stage, a man on horseback, an alligator, and 4 birds which scroll horizontally across the screen appear. These creatures fire upon the player, and the player must avoid incoming shots. If the player shoots all four creatures, the player advances to the next stage, which is identical to the previous. The player has a total of 3 lives, and when all are list, it's game over.
You are a man on a giant web, filled with all sorts of insects. Those insects are out for your blood but luckily you can shoot them. The main goal, however, is to plant bombs on the sides of the web and then return to your starting point. The insects can destroy those bombs so you better hurry up!
Go for as long as you can destroying assorted enemy ground and air vehicles. Avoid hitting a mine while picking up missiles from the ground. Missile attack ground installations for extra points.
Nebs is an arcade game for the Atari 8-bit computer.
The player controls a small arrow, which can move in the four cardinal directions, and must shoot at and eliminate alien nebs. These enemies move unfailingly towards the player, and speed up as more of their brethren are eliminated. The player can set the number of lives they start with from 1 - 5, and can set which wave they initiate on. When all 20 nebs are eliminated, the player progresses to a more difficult challenge.
During the American Gold Rush you are digging for gold. While excavating gold you must be aware of giant rats and a vicious Gremlin which comes to infest the mine. Snakes can be used to eat the rats.
This a 16K program which uses "high-resolution"graphics.
Planet of Crawlers is a 1-player science fiction themed arcade game for the Apple II.
The player controls a spaceship on the bottom of the screen which moves horizontally and can fire vertically. The player has to avoid mushrooms, as well as a white and orange spiders. The spiders move towards the player, bouncing off the edges of the play area. The white spider moves more vertically, while the red one prefers a larger angle. These identical two monsters appear repeatedly. The player has 20 ships, and it's game over when all are lost. the player is awarded points for spiders killed.
In Nightmare the player controls a visitor to a haunted mansion. The goal is to escape from it through a constantly moving hatch in the attic. His job will be made harder by the ghosts who are still lingering around the house. The player has to climb three floors to reach the attic, and there is one ghost for each floor.
You play as a shepherd who must gather sheep into the pen before nightfall so that he can go date his girlfriend. You catch the sheep by running into them and then dragging them to the pen. You can close the pen gate to stop sheep from escaping. But watch out for the wolves who will tear open the gates again.
The game was programmed by Kikuta Masaaki, notable for making the Hudson hit game Binary Land.
The game takes place inside a bacteria factory. You walk around and spray the various bacteria with yeast. That will turn them into white happy cloud-like bacteria. If you spray them again they will turn malevolent, so make sure not to overdo it! Move all the happy bacteria to the little bottle to clear the stage.
