Memento Mori (MM.WAD) is a 1995 megawad that contains 32 new levels, designed by two members of the Innocent Crew, Denis and Thomas Möller, along with 19 other authors, including Tom Mustaine and both Dario and Milo Casali. It was initially released on December 10, 1995, and saw an updated release in February 1996. In contrast to most megawads, it is designed especially for cooperative multiplayer gameplay, although it can be played in single-player as well. It is also one of the few PWADs that are allowed to be used in Compet-N speedruns. The soundtrack was composed by Mark Klem, who also designed one level and co-designed another, and is available in a separate file named MMMUS.WAD. The phrase Memento Mori is Latin and is translated as "Remember that you will die" or "Remember death".
In 2003, this WAD was named one of the Top 100 WADs of All Time. However, it was erroneously listed as a 1996 WAD, when it was in fact originally released in 1995; 1996 was merely the release year of the final version.
Kitty: Isolation is an ultra-hard Alien: Isolation mod intended to be unrelentingly difficult, primarily created to provide Alien: Isolation speedrunners with the ultimate challenge. While Kitty: Isolation can be enjoyed by casual players as well, many of the changes are speedrun-oriented, either to skip long, tedious sections of the game, or to render common speedrun tactics and exploits useless. If the ultimate Alien: Isolation challenge is what you're after, Kitty: Isolation is for you.
Frostpoint VR: Proving Grounds is a team-based multiplayer shooter that pits two sides against each other in high-intensity PvP game modes, with a unique PvE twist.

Vanguard is a episode replacement PWAD for Doom II, by Paul DeBruyne (skillsaw). It is a winner of 2011's 18th Annual Cacowards. The mapset requires a Boom-compatible source port. It contains 12 maps and a humorous "bonus" thirteenth level.
Inspiration sources include Speed of Doom, Scythe 2, Alien Vendetta, and The Plutonia Experiment. It was originally meant to be a "32-level speedmapped megawad inspired by Speed of Doom's development cycle and Scythe 2's episodic structure."
Doom is fast. DOOM(4) is fast-ish.
By mixing the movement speed of the old Doom, with the jumping tricks of the new DOOM, this mod is aimed to be a very fast paced experience, therefore it can be quite challenging. Even though there are no hitscan-attacking monsters, their projectiles are "not too fast" at best, "holy crap, where did that come from" at worst. The projectile attacks are there to be dodge-able most of the time, so long as you are keeping an eye (and ear) on your surroundings. However, since this was created with the idea of also being playable on a mobile device via D-Touch, where movement and aiming are somewhat diminished, additional skills were added to fit whatever playing style you prefer. Whether you want a very easy experience with a ton of monsters, or a very difficult one with fewer enemies, it's all covered!
This mod is also completely designed with multiplayer in mind via Zandronum, and extensive care was taken to ensure it works as intended in said port.

In a nutshell, IE is a mission based GZDOOM TC for DOOM II. Take doom, mix in a dose of unreal and turok, add a splash of metroid and maybe a little bit of system shock 2 and you'll not be far from the target. You play as an officer of the Interstellar Enforcement Patrol, tasked with policing the obscure fringes of humanities bustling space empire in the future of the DOOM II timeline. You generally do this by shooting things.
