A vanilla E2 replacement/PC for Ultimate Doom. It's called Nihility and I'll hopefully one day expand it into a full 36-level megawad. It's an old-school style wad with some new and replaced monsters and weapons, inspired by the Alphas/Beta but also old-school 90's partial conversions aka Strain. If you like DTWID, No End In Sight, Monti's favillesco and erkatane episodes, and Doom: The Lost Episode then you might enjoy this. The gameplay, appearance and story of each floor is unique, decided by the mapper. Create a map that best depicts a theme generated by jmickle66666666's level theme generator. Themes were created, numbered and then hidden from participants, who were made to select a number at random in order to be assigned a theme. The event ran for just under two weeks, totalling 11 maps. DsDoom 3 was created to maintain compatibility with the DS Doom port, which was created to play Doom on Nintendo DS handheld consoles and is based on PrBoom.
