All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros. was a promotional item given out as a contest prize by the Japanese radio show All Night Nippon to celebrate its twentieth year on the air. It is mainly a graphical hack of Super Mario Bros., although a handful of levels are from Super Mario Bros. 2. Some of the games sprites have been changed to look like famous Japanese celebrities and other people related to the All-Night Nippon program.
Bam is a fifteen years old courageous boy. Like every boy his age, Bam must pass the village's test and bring back an insect's shell from the forest. But as he returns, and to his surprise, most of the village has been destroyed and his parents turned into demons. Armed with his sword, Bam sets forth in search of what happened to the village and his parents.
In Youkai Yashiki, you control a boy armed with a flashlight who must explore five stages and locate five talisman before locating and gaining access to a stage boss. The flashlight serves as a weapon against the monsters which inhabit each stage. Your life meter takes the form of a set of batteries. As your life diminishes, the batteries drain and the power of your flashlight, that is the distance that the beams can travel, decreases.
A magic red jewel, known as the Arumana, is stolen from an unnamed village. A thief runs off with the jewel and turns the entire village into stone. Kaito must travel through six cavernous levels in search of the stolen jewel, Arumana.
The player begins with thirty throwing knives as his weapon of attack. As they venture through the levels they can find various other weapons. These include bombs, a handgun, bolas, a crystal ball that destroys everything on screen, and mines. He must destroy various cave dwelling creatures as well as soldiers, who sometimes drop weapons.
Upa is the prince of a magical kingdom and the most recent in a line of brave fighters. One day, though, he broke an urn containing the spirit of Zai, an incredibly evil goatish demon who takes the life force of the kingdom's adults and kidnaps all the babies - except for Upa, who is given a magical rattle by a fairy who was trapped in the urn along with Zai. And so, in order to save his kingdom, Upa crawls into action...
Number Builder is an single screen educational platformer to help you improve your maths over twelve levels. You play the role of a builder who must move around a building site, climbing ladders, looking for sums to make a target number. You are given a starting number and you must pick up sums to add or subtract from that number to make the target number. Each level is split into three different target numbers and each must be completed before a bucket is lifted to the top of the screen. Once a level is completed you get paid money before attempting the next level.
Before you play the game you can select your starting level as well as your builder who vary in different speeds. There is also a Self Test where you choose a level of difficulty and attempt to give the correct answers to ten sums before receiving a score.

The game is a platformer with many action-adventure elements. The knight meets different moving (as snakes, dragons, birds, water drops) and rigid enemies (as gargoyles) and obstacles (as spears or moving pillars), that can be fought and destroyed. Some enemies spit e.g fire. Destroyed enemies leave behind coins which can be collected. The enemies can harm the knight, which at first costs energy and then leads to death. If rooms that have already been visited are reentered the enemies also reappear!
Furthermore there are door opener in the shape of flashing steles which open different doors in the castle and objects (e.g.in the shape of jugs), that contain energy, water or weapons and can be collected. At the beginning, the energy supply only consists of three energy points, but in the course of the game the energy supply can be raised. If the knight passes a rune stone, there is an important hint to be read.

Part of the Vs. Series, known as Vs. Ice Climber, includes gameplay features not found in the home console release, such as an animated title screen, stage select menu, 16 additional mountains, occasional blizzard and wind effects, more enemy characters, and bonus multiplier items.
The object of the game is to perpetuate the race by introducing ten pods in the incubators which can be found all over the ship. The alien has an energy level which slowly decreases. The only way to restore the energy levels is dropping the pods in the incubators, or else devouring the little engineers to be found on board the ship. The creatures can defend themselves spitting paralysing acid, or hiding in the air vents, etc.
The ship consists of 142 areas divided into four zones, which are joined by doors or air vents. Each zone has various levels, which are entered by lift. To enter a lift, a door or a vent, you only need to place yourself in front of it, and duck.
Flip and Flop is an isometric platform game by Jim Nangano for First Star Software. The player controls Flip, a kangaroo, who jumps around on top of the platforms and Mitch the monkey, who hangs underneath platforms.
There lived one gravedigger at a very small village in a remote region. He lived a quiet, solitary life in a corner of the cemetery. He kept away from the village people due to his very ugly appearance. One day, he found the graves were ransacked and some corpses were stolen. He didn't want the village people to find out, so he decided to eliminate the grave burglars by himself. Thus, he patrolled the cemetery every night.
A good ghoul goes around graveyards protecting them from evil doers. The player clears the area and collecting power ups using it to eliminate the enemies. There are five stages with five levels each, and each one of them has you throwing fireballs at ghouls, ghosts, goblins, and zombies. When you keep throwing fireballs at these enemies, they will ignite into a giant fireball, which you can throw at other enemies to kill them, and get the remaining treasure before moving on to the next level. At the end of the fifth level, a boss must be defeated in order to continue the game.
Yet another clone of Buster Brothers / Pang! / Pomping World - this one featuring low-budget music and sound effects, and split-screen competitive two-player action, somewhat reminiscent of Twinkle Star Sprites.
