This port of Risky Challenge adds 34 more levels to the original 40. "Gussun Oyoyo" also incorporates touched up cutscenes with voice-overs as well as intermission screens between levels. It is a game that can be described as a cross between Tetris, Solomon's Key and Lemmings. The game is a conversion of the Irem's arcade machine from 1993.
A Dreamcast puzzler developed mostly by one Japanese student, Golem no Maigo (also known by its English translation "The Lost Golem") tasks you with guiding the king to the end of every stage by pushing walls around while also ensuring there are enough walls that remain intact to progress.
Another physics-based puzzle by Rovio, this one is more centered on Rube-Goldberg machines and is based on the game Casey's Contraptions, which they purchased the rights to.
In 2000, Songbird Productions produced a sequel, Crystal Mines II: Buried Treasure on CD-ROM for Microsoft Windows. This CD-ROM required the original game and a Lynx to PC serial cable to run, allowing the editing and creation of all new levels. This was followed in 2003 by a cartridge release of Crystal Mines II: Buried Treasure with the original 181 levels and 125 new levels.
