    Racing
    Sega Saturn
A driving/racing game for Sega Saturn developed by CAVE and TBS Television. It was made as a tie-in to TBS's mid-1990s Japanese game show Tokyo Friend Park, where one of the games, Delisoba ("delivery soba"), had celebrities command a virtual motorcycle trying to deliver soba to the TBS TV Studios. Deluxe is a "port" of this game to the Saturn, which adds features such as a time attack and track editor, and was not sold in stores, but rather given away at the show (either to winners or to audience members, exactly what is unknown).

The LCD version of Indy 500 is a watered-down version of the arcade game Indy 500 created by Tiger Electronics. It was released as part of the Pocket Arcade series in 1996. The following year it was re-released as Sega Raceway, presumably as the Indy 500 license had expired.
  • Speed Racer

    Speed Racer

    1996

    Racing
    PlayStation
Speed Racer is an arcade type game that resembles the Sega Saturn's Daytona USA. The first track is identical, except for the lack of a pit lane, the Sonic sculpture in a wall and the different sponsor banners. The major difference between the two games is the performance of the car and the fact that the player can use all the gadgets of the anime Mach 5. The gadgets can be used to "shunt" other cars (even with the Cutter, the cars only bounce and there is no damage in the game), take shortcuts (by cutting trees and passing under lakes), etc. The controls are simple and the player switches over the gadgets and the camera views. The player can choose the length of the race in the menu, along basic sound options.

    Racing
    Amiga
This is one of the games that came with Amiga Forever, which I highly recommend. I'd define it as slow, sluggish and unresponsive, which is a shame, as the game is an obvious homage to Racing Destruction Set. There is a large number of user-created tracks included, and you can make your own. You can even adjust the gravity (on top of the default "earth" mode, the gravity on tracks can be that of any of the other planets, the moon or the sun). If they had gotten the controls right, this could have been something to write home about.

Commentator Paul Page performed as the announcer. This Racing game is widely known for its destruction and chaotic themes that are followed by loud, gritty and dark metal songs.
