Later in 2025, a shareware version of "Speed Haste/Circuit Racer" for the Commodore Amiga, was developed by BSzili. Speed Haste is a 3D arcade racing game with 2 types of vehicles, and different cars per type: the famous F-1 and the Stock Cars (best known as Formula NASCAR), each with different characteristics and maneuverability. The player can compete in the championship mode, covering all circuits with an increasing difficulty, but identical for both car types. The multiplayer mode offers split-screen racing or IPX-based sessions with up to 4 players.

    Yomo

    1990

    Amiga
Yomo is an oldskool-styled shoot 'em up by Aaron Fothergill for Mandarin Software. It was runner-up in The 1989 Games Writer Of The Year Award competition which is pretty cool. I've had this on my bucket list for a while because I always admired its 8-bit feel which reminded me of games I played as a youngster back in the early 80s. The world is viewed two-dimensionally with a landscape populated by many destructible buildings and whacky vehicles which use the most frustrating mechanics. Our character is a tiny stickman who's on a mission to recover a dodgy nuke dropped behind enemy lines. However, this won't be easy because the baddies are constantly attacking so why not fire off a few heat-seeking missiles before jumping inside something probably stolen from the 1960s? On foot isn't fun, but if you see other stickmen wobbling across your screen then hit fire and gun 'em down!!

The Amiga Port of "Space Harrier". Space Harrier on the Amiga is a port of Sega's classic rail shooter. Players control a jetpack-equipped protagonist who flies through surreal, colorful landscapes, battling bizarre enemies and large bosses. The game features fast-paced action as the hero weaves through obstacles and projectiles while firing at incoming threats. While adapting the arcade original to home computer hardware, this version aims to recreate the high-speed, fantastical experience of the original within the Amiga's capabilities.

  • Spidertronic

    1988

    Spidertronic

    1988

    Amiga
In Spidertronic the player gets to take control of a robotic spider moving through a world of isometric levels. Each level consists of tiles that make out the spider's web. Problem is that the web is under siege by odd spherical creatures. This has lead to some passageways being broken and now it's up to our little spider to repair the damage done. The aim then is to rebuild these parts of each level so that the spider can move on to the next. This is done with the use of coloured tiles. The HUD shows a flashing dot that indicates what colour is needed. The spider then has to find a tile in that colour and move it to the tile that needs to be repaired. Once this is all done the spider gets access to a teleporter and can move on to the next level. The spider isn't alone however. It has to be careful not to come into contact with the balls that move around the web. Balls can be destroyed by building a web in front of them. They won't be gone for long though since they will respawn after just a few seconds.
  • Georg Glaxo

    Georg Glaxo

    1992

    Shooter Platform
    Amiga
Georg Glaxo is a promotional game released by the Danish subsidiary of pharmaceutical company Glaxo. It's a side scrolling platform shooter where the player takes control of Georg, a boy who has asthma. The game consists of four levels, each representing one of the seasons of the year. In each level the young boy will come across various animals that he can dodge or shoot at. Some of these, like sharks, are direct dangers while others just affects Georg's asthma. If it gets too bad he will get sick, start to cough and move slower. However this can be prevented by taking the right medicine. There are three different kinds of medicine, Flixotide (orange), Serevent (green) and Ventoline (blue). The orange and green should be taken every morning and evening, while the blue one is taken when Georg gets sick. A green, yellow and orange meter shows the current condition. If the marker is within the green area everything is okay.
