Skirmish, a BBC Micro and Electron game, adapts the classic Joust formula into a two-player experience where knights mounted on flying ostriches and storks battle against AI-controlled vulture riders. Players navigate platforms while using aerial combat tactics, striking opponents from above to turn them into eggs that must be destroyed before hatching into stronger foes. The game features three enemy types - Bounders, Hunters, and Shadow Lords - along with environmental hazards including crumbling platforms, lava trolls, and an invincible pterodactyl.

Two versions exist for the Commodore 64, built by entirely different teams for different markets. The earlier North American version is played in full screen and is arguably the more accurate of the two, but runs slower, has a very limited HUD and has no in-game music. The European version, by contrast, is faster and has music, but plays in a window. There are also colour clashing issues when enemy planes are drawn above the ground, and the level order is different.
Eliminator is a classic horizontal shoot-em-up where the player flies his spaceship over a scrolling, alien landscape. As Group Commander of the United Earth Space Force, J.A. Davidson, the player is tasked to take his Skystrike Attack Craft to the vicinity of the Motare Nebulae and find out why several ships have vanished there without a trace. Killer Bubbles and Mutant crafts are encountered and should be eliminated.
