    Pacmania

    1983

    Arcade
    Commodore C64/128/MAX
Not to be confused with Pac-Mania by Namco, this is a Pac-Man clone where the object is to eat dots and power pills. Several ghosts appear in their hideout at the center of the maze, and these ghosts will eventually make their way through the maze, chasing Pac-Man wherever he goes. However, eating the power pills cause the ghosts to turn blue, allowing Pac-Man to hunt a ghost down and then eat it for bonus points, which are also awarded for eating a fruit that appears somewhere within the maze. Warp tunnels are located at either side of the screen, and these can be used to get away from ghosts that are on Pac-Man's tail. Besides power pills, also scattered around the maze are white H icons. If Pac-Man comes in contact with any of these icons, he will be teleported to anywhere in the maze. Once Pac-Man eats all the dots and power pills in the maze, he will advance to the next one, whose structure differs from the previous.
  • Neptune's Daughters

    Neptune's Daughters

    1983

    Shooter Arcade
    Atari 8-bit Commodore C64/128/MAX
Players control Neptune who is exploring the depths of the ocean in search of his daughters held captive by the sea snake. The game is split into two sections. The first section has the player guiding Neptune through a series of underwater caverns while destroying jellyfish. The player also must shrink down weeds that get in their way. The weeds grow back to their original size after a few seconds, so the player must swim past them in a limited amount of time. The second section has the player shooting crabs while avoiding falling debris. By shooting crabs, the player can pick them up and take it to the structure nearby where the player will see the daughters trapped in an aquarium guarded by the snake. To set her free, the player is required to drop the crab onto the snake's tongue. If the player repeats this enough times, the daughter is set free and the game restarts with a higher difficulty level.

    1983

    Shooter Arcade

As superhero Adam Power, you’re the pilot of a space sled on patrol around the explosive Volcan Rock, and what better cover for the bad guys? An enormous laser-eyed space serpent is coiled around the mountain, and you have to take it down single-handedly. Once See the videoyou’ve baked the snake, you land your sled on the surface and have a shootout with Gryptogg, Raygoth and Arkus. Once you’ve beaten them back, you can explore the underground caverns, collecting their instruments of evil and exchanging fire with them again. When you escape from their maze, you advance to the next level and begin the fight anew. (North American Philips / Probe 2000, 1983 – unreleased) This Colecovision adaptation of the Odyssey2 game (now there’s a phrase you’re never going to see again), based on a less-than-blockbuster-successful series of comics and action figures, adds more depth to the game than the dear old Odyssey ever could’ve managed. But it’s hard to tell how much depth, as the game was never completed.

Well, you not only have to learn the fine art of baking cakes, but you also have to master it in a big hurry. This is a production operation, and business is booming! It's actually a very simple job--at first. You simply take a freshly baked cake from the oven and drop it on a platter which is moving on a conveyor belt. Top that with a cherry, and you will be rewarded for your artistic endeavors. You must stack them correctly however, or--splat!! As your skill progresses, so does the conveyor speed, so keep cool, and try not to earn the dubious title of "butterfingers." Being a top notch bakery chef requires adeptness and a calm temperament, so if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!
