A baseball simulator, Exciting Baseball follows Exciting Billiards and Exciting Basket (better known as Double Dribble in the West) in Konami's series of sports games for the Famicom Disk System. Like the others in the Exciting series it's a straightforward exemplar of its particular sport. It doesn't have the flair of the original two Exciting games, as it never had an Arcade antecedent.

After the regular season the best 2 teams of every group are qualified for the playoffs. Worth mentioning is that you are playing always the center - the other players are controlled by the CPU. In the multiplayer mode you can only play friendly games.

Pocket Gal is an arcade game released by Data East in 1987. The gameplay is similar to the NES version of Side Pocket, although the player has less lives, the two-player mode does not have lives (although a 20-second time limit between shots is added), and of course, the game contains nudity. There is an English version of the game called Pocket Gal 2, which was released in 1989. Also in 1989, a version of the game was released titled Super Pool III. This version of the game does not contain nudity, and it was released in North America by I.Vics. A sequel to Pocket Gal was released in 1993 called Pocket Gal Deluxe. The gameplay of Pocket Gal Deluxe is similar to the Sega Genesis version of Side Pocket. In Pocket Gal Deluxe, the art style is much more realistic than Pocket Gal. Each of the 4 stages is hosted by a corresponding girl, who's only function (not that I'm complaining) is to strip when the level is cleared. Additional points and shots can be gained by pocketing balls in order, in computer-predetermined po

Here's an original twist – a hexagonal pool table! You can play against a friend or the computer at any one of over twenty different table layouts. There are only seven balls on the table instead of the normal fifteen, and if you fail to pot a ball three times, you lose the frame. There's not that much else to say about it, but one nice feature is that you can design your own table layouts and save and load them for later use.

Not so much a sequel to Pro Yakyuu Family Stadium than an enhanced rerelease with updated rosters. It was published by Bandai for the Famicom in late 1987. Pro Yakyuu Family Stadium '87 is the second game in Namco's long running Family Stadium series, also known as Famista. It's a traditional baseball game that allows one human player against the CPU, two competing human players and two competing CPU players in a "Watch" spectator mode. Rather than being a full sequel to Pro Yakyuu Family Stadium the game is instead an updated version of the original, which was reflected in its lower price at release. It adds a few features and updates the official rosters for the athletes, but is functionally identical to the original Family Stadium. This specific type of annualization would become common practice for sports game franchises such as Madden NFL and NHL. It's worth noting that this game is unrelated to R.B.I. Baseball 2 from Tengen. The original R.B.I. Baseball and Family Stadium were one and the same, the former
