Eight invaded townships must be brought back under your control in this Commando-style shoot 'em up, which progresses vertically using a flick-screen system. You are armed with a rifle (activated by a short tap of the fire button) and five grenades (used via a longer press), and must not only kill off the enemy forces, but also rescue your comrades who have been tied to trees along the way. You begin at the bottom of the first screen and slowly make your way upwards; enemies pop up from all sides, walking around and shooting, and you have to dodge their shots while trying to shoot them yourself. The foes make good use of the decoy opportunities of the terrain, and you must do the same to have a chance. The levels include rivers with narrow bridges, potholes, and train-lines.
Extra supplies are dropped in as you progress through the game, as are extra lives in addition to your starting 5
A Space Invaders/Galaxian clone written by John P. Shay and published by Solar Software for the Commodore 16 and 4 Plus. In Alien Attack you move a spacecraft left or right at the bottom of the screen, blasting aliens in formation above. You must avoid the bombs that they drop as well as avoid any aliens that swoop downwards or you lose one of three lives if you touch an alien or its bombs. Once you clear the screen, you face another wave of aliens.
The game is based on the popular anime TV series of the same name. The player controls a transformable VF-1 Valkyrie variable fighter in an unending battle against an invading race of giant humanoid aliens known as the Zentradi.
The game is a horizontal scrolling shooter in which you take control of a jetpack propelled space warrior who travels between parallel universes and worm holes (hence 4-D or 4 dimensions) throughout the game. By flying over the top of the play field, you end up in an alternate universe. You travel back and forth defeating enemies until you reach a boss creature. On some occasions a worm hole will appear in the middle of the play field and you are taken to even stranger worlds.
