A simple flight simulator and dogfighting game. Shoot the planes, avoid the flak. You have a limited amount of ammuntion and fuel. Shoot down 10 planes and you can land to refuel, but you may lose ammo. You'll only be given as much ammunition as you successfully used to shoot down planes the last time up.
Bugs are crawling out of the sewers and are coming for you. Your defense: a bunch of potted plants hanging over your balcony. As the bugs climb the wall, push the pots over the edge and knock the bugs off. If six bugs get into your building through the window, they'll eat away at the foundation until the building drops a bit. Then the bugs will have a shorter wall to climb, and things get harder. This game is original, challenging, and pretty addictive. Get 75,000 points and earn the Crackpots patch.
Mattel’s MO was to make, slightly inferior perhaps, ports of their Intellivision games and release them on the 2600 to entice people over to the Intellivision. Most of the games Mattel ported were simple shooters that didn’t require much use of the Intellivision’s keypad controller space battle which was renamed space attack on the 2600 is the major exception. Space battle used eleven of the twelve keypad buttons and somehow that all had to be condensed into a single button controller.
In this game, the player is a bee with a stinger. You fly over flowers for points and must avoid the trees and fires as well as the enemy bugs. You may use your stinger to kill bugs, but only one stinger is allowed on the screen at a time.
Space Cavern is a 1982 shooter video game for the Atari 2600 developed and released by Games by Apollo. Players control a spaceship commander who has landed on a planet and must defend the ship against its hostile creatures. Games by Apollo founder Pat Roper was impressed by the game Demon Attack and tasked Apollo member Dan Oliver with making a game very similar to it. The game was later rereleased as Space Canyon.
Space Raiders is a distant clone of Defender for the Arcadia 2001. The player pilots a spacefighter ship that is charged with shooting lasers at mutants and flying saucers. Additionally, there are missile launching bases that can fire upon the player, but these bases can be disabled by bombing them. The player's spacefighter ship also features an energy meter that counts down from 40 seconds and can be partially re-energized by docking at disabled missile bases. The object of this 1-player game is to score as many points as possible by destroying enemies with the five lives provided. Space Raiders also features a pausing feature known as "freezing," which was relatively uncommon at the time of the game's release in 1982.
This is The End! You must destroy the space pirates attempting to steal bricks from you defense bases. They will use the bricks to spell out END. The game is lost if all defense bases are destroyed or E-N-D is completed.

R2D Tank is simple 2D arcade game and a sequel to Red Tank. The player controls a tank, collects dots for points and fights against enemy tanks. When an enemy tank is destroyed, a next vehicle appears on the battlefield. Mines (red dots) lie on battlefield and these can be destroyed by shooting them. Later levels have more enemies.
Tanks a Lot is a clone of Tank Battalion. In this game, you control a person within a maze. You must destroy tanks and protect your top and bottom bases from getting destroyed. After all yellow tanks tanks have been shot down, you move on to the next level. All of the levels call for different tactics, depending on the enemy arrangements. The walls can be shot and destroyed, and the game loses if all of your lives are lost, and there are four game and option variations to choose from.
